yea i have uninstalled and reinstalled but i get no change. i have the most recent drivers for my video card. i could be way off here but i did see something about buffering on the video or buffing interenal. im at work so i cant look at the settings......is no one else having this prob. i dont have...

my drivers are all up to date. im still getting the same problem.....anything else i could try out....i cant think of anything else that coudl be doing this. i run some high end games and have no problems. to me it sounds like it is the program running with the hardware, but i could be wrong. i did ...

computer locking up

i have always use vlc and never had a problem. i just built a new computer and now when i use vlc it locks my computer up or does a physical dump....how do i get around this?

streaming tut anywhere?

im am very new to VLC and maybe im wrong but from what i have read it looks like u can stream a video from VLC on my computer to an other. i was looking for a tut on how to set this up. i have done a few searches but came up with nothing. if one knows of one people let me know.

works nice now....i had the volume up to like 80% now that its at 50 every thing is fine. thanks for that bit of info...

thanks for input, and yes the EQ can cause distortion. if u turn the levels up to high it will over load especially since computers use powered speakers and sending an amplified signal to an amplifier will cause distortion.

audio problem

when i play an audio track it is distorted. i play the same file on winamp and it plays fine. i have tried disabling the EQ and i have tried different setting on the EQ with no luck....anyone else have this prob
