I dont understand why my subtitles dont open when I double click on a .avi movie.

The .avi file and the .srt file have the same name except for the extension. It only work when I go to Open file (avanced)

Could you be a bit more precise. Where exactly do I go in the audio section in preferences?

On a few movies i'm trying to watch with VLC there is some sound but not all the sound. The background is there but not the dialogue. What can I do?

I need to separate the controls of VLC from the screen to be able to move the screen to my tv monitor. Can someone help me?
