Re: Redesign the forum icon (i-cone)

I'm using IE 7.
There are two ways to solve the issue - either change browsers, or convert the forum icon to have an alpha channel.
I think second should do the thing for everybody.

Re: Redesign the forum icon (i-cone)

Very nice to fit the background, but.. Format of your file is PNG and 32-bit colors are used. Forum picture is GIF and it's maximum 256 colors. So you'll have to convert your image to 256 colors too, otherwise I see it as following. http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/806/tmpoa6.png See the borders? :)

Re: Forum upgrade to phpbb3

PHPBB3 seems very lovely, and stable. I'm running it on my box too, good engine. :)

[Report] VLC media player has encountered a problem

Good day. When I try to launch .asx file in VLC (version 0.8.6c), it dies of some reason. I watched this file in previous version (0.8.6b), and it worked just fine, aswell as in WMP. AppName: vlc.exe AppVer: 0.8.6.0 ModName: libvlc.dll ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0009c98e Windows XP Pro, SP2. Here is at...

Re: Forum upgrade to phpbb3

Ou, finally you did it, congratulations. :) Hopefully this one will prevent spammers, but you never know. Another thing to think about is pretty small logo, so here is my suggestion: I saw a horisontally placed "shouting" cone someone created (it's here on forum somewhere), it could fit pe...

In Preferences, Audio 256 of 1024 = 50% or No gain. This setting is 100% in other players. Thank you very much, everything is as I wanted now. :) So clear for users ;) I don't know how to understand that, but I agree. This explanation DJ wrote to me, should stay in setting hint in VLC, instead of &...

VLC vs. Winamp or MPC (sound quality issue)

Good evening. I would like to understand one thing according sound in VLC. I took a very very good look at this today (actually never thought about it before), and found huge dirrerence by using high volume and headphones. Why is the quality so bad comparing to sound in Winamp or Media Player Classi...

Well, if you can't place subtitles on the black area (outside the picture), is it then possible to create some kind of background shape where they are going to appear? Like they do on TV, black shapes and white text over it? Would be very nice, since it becomes hell reading them on lighted areas. So...

Non opensource boards should not be used.
Atleast update image verification code, as I said. And good luck with phpBB, you see by yourself how much it sucks. =))

Computer specifications seems to be useless, but something like VLC version and OS would be absolutely useful. Setting it as required field with an option like "I don't use VLC" would be even better; All questions like "What is your version of VLC?" could be skipped. But ofcourse...

vBulletin is absolutely the best solution. Another thing you could do about phpBB is to update the Verification image code to version 3.x. It uses different angles of letter/number preview and colors, which makes it almost impossible to scan. You shoud really update this board, it does not seems go...
