I noticed VLC often crashes under Vista while playing MP3s from a playlist. I think it has something to do with the name of the directory containing the MP3 file, as renaming the directory to something short like "foo" apparently solved the problem. As far as I can tell there is no relatio...

I just noticed this works only for the displaying of the video but not for the stream saving. Is there any way to apply a fixed resolution (or aspect ratio) to the saved stream as well?

No Context Menu Items?

I can't get the VLC context menu items installed with Windows Vista. I checked the corresponding options during the installation and I tried it more than once (with admin priviledges) but there are still no context menu items. I have no idea what might be wrong here. Any ideas? Thanks
