I have had my MAC for a few years and is an alluminium model POWERBOOK 15" running on OSX 10.4.9 using a MATSHITADVD-R UJ-835F drive I was able to download the 8.6b version. My dvd drive locked on region code 1 a while ago after the 5 chances u can switch if you are travelling which I always am...
