Same issue here. Since the upgrade sound is lost randomly. Also frequent hangs which is something that never happen previously with VLC, which always seemed solid as a rock. Downgrading to previous 3.0 version for a while. Hope you find the issue guys. Thanks 1000 ;-)

Hi guys, I installed the VLC 1.16 Intel 64 issue on my iMac white Late 2006, Mac OS X Snow Tiger 10.6.6. Hi guys, I used to drag and drop files to the playlist and now i cannot see those files anymore. It is just empty no matter throwing a bunch of files. Maybe i need to configure it differently to see those files. I am using VLC 0.86i (Intel). I did uninstall the most modern version because subtitles...

Has there been any news with the Subtitles in VLC 0.9.9? I took the shadows and stuff and still don´t look good. Nothings compared to VLC 0.86.
