What about VLC package for slackware 12? The package from the official site works great but it is old and for slackware 10.x

So, there are no chances to expect this feauture on newer version of VLC?

Is this possible to do that in VLC? I read a topic posted 4 years ago about this and I think this is still not implemented. So I want to ask, why? Is this so hard to make this simple feature?
