Play a DVD from the beginning

Hi to all! Why VLC doesn't play a DVD from the beginning? It directly goes to main menu, the one which allows to play the film, choose extra and so on What I mean, it doesn't show for example the menu which allows to choose the language of the menus By the way, is there an option so that VLC asks to...

Re: Two little bugs

What about Windows DPI? You mean screen resolution? Why should I change it? "volume is changed via wheel after you have entered full screen" On the contrary, I have that issue only when I'm not in full screen mode, when I'm in full screen, if wheel the mouse wheel, only the speed of the vi...

Re: Two little bugs

Thanks for your help! Actually, I can't read anything about the mouse in the log I write here, sorry it's long, but I can't attach files At the end, I enter full screen By the way: when I'm in full screen mode, and I want VLC toolbar to appear and I go down with mouse cursor, Windows bar appears too...

Re: Two little bugs

Nope! I have that problem, and I don't know why, since shorcuts for volume up and down are ctrl+up and ctrl+down, not mouse wheel

Two little bugs

Hi to all! So, I set the mouse wheel up and down as shortcuts to increase and decrease the speed while playing a video, but, if the video is not played in full screen, when I roll the wheel, the volume is increased and decreased too I remember this was also a bug in VLC versions earlier to 1 Then, w...

Fast forwarding with mouse wheel increases the volume

Hi! I don't know if it has already been discussed: I set so that I can go forward and back while watching a video with the wheel mouse, and it works well when I play the video in full screen, while, when I play the video in a small window, the wheel mouse increases and decreases the volume, too, eve...

Re: Fast fowarding

I see, however I still have this problem with the wheel of the mouse, so maybe it's only my problem!
However, is it normal it appears "faster" or "slower" on the screen only when I fast-forward/rewind with a video played full screen?

Re: Fast fowarding

With me, the wheel of the mouse for fastforwarding works only with full screen, while it doesn't work if the video is played at its original size or enlarging fully the window (but with the buttons still visible) What do you mean with "player must be in focus"? Ok, I'll wait for the final ...

Fast fowarding

I have VLC version 0.8.6.d and, am I wrong, or fast-forwarding/rewinding with wheel mouse works only with videos played at full screen? While it works well with interface buttons
It would be great to have fast fowarding with audio! (For fast-forwarding boring films!!!)

I have a notebook (Armada M700), with integrated video card (8 MB), I hoped there was an option. Actualy, in the VLC manual, it talks about "Logo transparency" in a "subpictures filters" menu, but I can't find it in the video settings! It's not a real matter, but I wanted most to...

Overlay and transparency

Sorry if this has already been asked, but I can't understand and solve this problem (actually, I don't know if it's really a problem): when I open a video file, it produces a strange effect, a sort of "transparency", if I minimize the VLC window, it distorts the other windows; if I uncheck...
