VLC rox, and the plugin doesn't work, so we're left with still having to have at least one other media player installed so we can all play web-based videos...which defeats the point of VLC in the first place!

Same exact problem. I can't believe I have to go back to Totem. Honestly, VLC is the best media player out there. It plays anything and everything. But this plugin is just an embarrassment. Is it like an empty file or something? I've searched here and the Ubuntu forums, and all I can find are people...
