Oh yeah, put a link to the changelog in the software itself, great idea. The more places the better.

I was wondering that also, the changelog even says "64bit version of VLC for Windows is recommended.".

I solved this by reinstalling VLC and resetting the settings. When you start it the first time it asks you if you want to allow metadata stuff from the internet, just uncheck that and save. It didn't download some crappy youtube thumbnail as the cover art for my mp3 the next time I used it.

Every time i play a certain WMV files, i get three videowindows.
I have tried to reinstall, reset settings, deleting settings when reinstalling, but no avail.

I'm gonna post a screenshot as soon imageshack starts working.
