Re: Nvidia Ion - what it can, and can't do!

Then I guess my romance with VLC is over for now.

Hopefully you guys will make it right with 1.1

Also don't forget to add these features:

- Scroll mouse wheel to change window size (Like in BSPlayer)
- VLC remembers where you left off when you close a file

Re: Nvidia Ion - what it can, and can't do!

OK, I found and installed AC3 filter and CoreAVC, now even regular windows media player plays the HD files great! :)

VLC Still doesn't thought... is there an option I need to change in the settings to have it use the CUDA ???

Re: Nvidia Ion - what it can, and can't do!

Actually, I just installed MPC - Home Cinema (media player classic) and it plays ANY file like a champ!! totally smooth, no stuttering no interruptions (even while doing other things in the background).

So now I am certain the problem is with VNC and not with my laptop.. what gives?

Nvidia Ion - what it can, and can't do!

So today I got my Asus Eee 1201N netbook. For $499 it certainly has the netbook price tag but to call this thing a netbook would be an understatement. It is a beast! With 250GB of storage, and a maximum 8GB of ram, Nvidia ION Geforce 9400 chipset and a dual core (albeit) Atom processor, this thing r...

Can't Change Keyboard Shortcuts ! ?? !

For some reason, whenever I make changes to the keyboard shortcuts (under Interface -> HotKey settings) There is no impact on the program. It's like what I do there doesn't even count. All I'm trying to do is change the keys so that the UP and DOWN arrows control the volume and the LEFT and RIGHT ar...

SCROLL MOUSE WHEEL to RESIZE WINDOW

This is a wonderful feature that is BSPlayer did very well, the ability to change the window size by scrolling up or down on the mouse wheel.. If VLC Player had that, it would be P E R F E C T !!

Opening files over a home network

Hey there, I have a big monster PC, my roomate has a small weak apple iBook G4. Big monster PC has lots of movies / tv shows on it, folder is shared with the mac. When I open video files through quicktime they are really slow and jumpy, VLC Player on the mac doesn't want to open them at all, OR some...
