Re: 3D/stereoscopic support

I'm no programmer so I probably won't be of much help but I noticed this post and would like to cheer you up ! Go Go ! jgh ! Make VLC a 3D capable video player ! I'm a Zalman display user (line interlaced) and will soon build myself a dual-projector solution. It would be really great if VLC could su...

Re: different YUV rendering between directX and direct3D

Search for a portion of your movie where you know you should have true black, like a fade to black transition or the end credits.
The wrong one will display that black gray, while the right on will display it black.

Re: 16-235 to 0-255 filter

I had the same problem. I found out it wasn't VLC but was because the driver of my graphics card had a bad implementation of hardware YUV->RGB. I have a nvidia card. I know it is driver relater because with very old drivers (80.something) the conversion is good while with new drivers it isn't. Try d...

Unfortunately, i don't have a dual projoector polarized display or an iz3d monitor, instead i only have one single monitor and...

Re: HDV And Timecodes

I think on top of the screen is the standard way of doing it. But having a copy/paste ability would be a cool feature... and why not an "auto copy to clipboard" function when pressing the pause button ? Found somebody else asking about the same thing in an older topic : VLC is a packet vid...

Re: HDV And Timecodes

I think i understand what he is says. He would like to display the exact time and or frame number over the image when playing so that somebody can easily pause the video, then read the timecode, and copy/paste the timecode in a database. The software he usually uses (on a mac) cannot read hdv files....

Hello (first post) I'm also very interested in that feature, an other thing i've noticed is that lag when using the play/pause button. I'm not a programmer, i can't even read the code but what i understand just by watching the advanced options is that VLC is a hungry beast which can't stop "eat...
