Yeah, I was using Detour too, but it stopped working for me when I went to Intel.

I'll never understand why they dropped that (or why no one else created a similar product). It was terribly useful.

Anyway, I'll give this a try. Thanks for the info.

Well, I can tell you how it should work, but I can't get it to work on my machine. I posted that it isn't working 2 months ago and didn't get a response. Anyway, the way you SHOULD be able to do what you want is to go to Preferences -> Audio -> Output Modules -> auhal and then pick the audio device ...
