when i play videos in vlc i can see every pixel but when i play them in other players its all clear. now i dont want to use another player i want to use vlc. so i was messing with the settings and i set video output to opengl, and now i dont see the pixels anymore. but the prob is now when a lot mov...

i would like to see vlc have a full screen file browser. say in /mnt/vlc then u can mount more dirs like /mnt/vlc/movies then in vlc while in full screen be able to select 'movies' then pick a movie and it play it w/out ever leaving full screen. and all this be usable from lirc of course :D could us...

maybe it has something to do w/ overlay. i used to have probs w/ it, exparimenting w/ clone voice and doulview between my TV and monitor. i just disable it and everything goes good.
in VLC click settings|preferences video untick overlay

then how do u recommend getting all ur codec's??
i love videolan and everything would be fine, if only the media center software would use it to display the videos, not the windows media player thing........

click Video in the menu, it might have more then 1 video track. Switch between them.

it wants me to enter an email address so im not going to signup. but if it works like i assume it does, then the urls are hidden inside a playlist. you could open the playlist in videolan or open it in notepad to get the url to the real stream.

I noticed after installing codec's on my system, DivX XviD and the good old KL Code Pack, sound/video synk --please stay polite-- up. i figured out the gist of it, but how do you apply an option to a playing video? like in VLC u can select a different screen ratio in the menu, and then the video just change to it w/out starting/starting.

Is there anymore details about how to use this control?? Is it created just for VB or is the same control used as the web browser thing?? If so, how could u use properties u set in the web browser, in VB?? I would like to use it to make my own personal version of the windows xp MCE software. VLC doe...
