I just found the solution changing the preferences.
I don't "install it", i just compiled it succesfully after many trials...

Where the preferences settings are saved???

Now look, it is very strange

>vlc -I http --http-host host:port
>vlc --intf=http
>vlc -vvv --intf http

All of them works!!,
but when I change to other PC?!

At the first PC I tried it, they also launch the wxWindows interface.

Any ideas??

the same occurs when

>vlc --intf=http !!??

I would like to launch vlc as I do with 0.7.0 version
so I don't see the panel at all

> vlc -I http --http-host host:port

Unfortunately I use the same command but the wxWindows panel pops up.

Is there any way to avoid this??
