VLC@Linux start via cron - set the position of the GUI-

:shock: Hi I want to start a simple VLC-Relay on a Linux-Server with a cron-job. When I start VLC at the comand line or cron-job (vlc -vvv .....) it opens the GUI on the X-Window system and i have to release it on the window to start the relaying. What can i do to set the position of the opening VLC...

Hello, please have a look at: http://rpmseek.com/ :wink: if you search VLC there you will find the main files. To locate the missing rpm's to fix the dependencies of VLC you can also find them there. I successfull installed the newest VLC-software on FC6 by using this site. 8) Regards cyberdude
