/Steven/Video_Lan/VLC.app/Contents/MacOS vlc -vvv dvdsimple:/movie/TRUMAN --sout udp:192.168.10.22 --ttl 12 -f

Could anyone help with the follwing command:

./vlc -vvv dvdsimple:/movie/TRUMAN --sout udp:192.168.10.22 --ttl 12 '#display':fullscreen


I am trying to start streaming on the target machine in fullscreen. I have tried every variation and still no luck.

VLC 0.8.1
Mac OS X 10.3.7

Reko, I just tried the fix above with VLC 0.8.0. Looks like the core audio calls were fixed with this new version.

I just did a little research and it appears that apple has changed some of its audio core calls in the new G5. Could this be causing the static and poor audio with VLC?

You get some audio, but it is filled with static and distorted. Any ideas. Thanks!

Has anyone got their hands on one of the Viewsonic WMA100. Its a set top box with DVI output that accept Mpeg 1 + 2 + 4 streams.

I am looking for a dumb reciever to sit behind my tv's and just accept video lan streams. No additional features required. Anyone come across one?
