Sorry to bring back a dead thread, I have the same problem under Windows with firefox, no embedded videos play at all

I specifically click Mozzila Plugin, however, anything that has an embed sound/video file will not play, unless it has its own player like YouTube.

What do you mean by "not functionning"?
Do you get an error message or something?

Embed videos do not play at all, and even on some videos, FF asks me if I want to install a plug-in to view the video, and when it starts to search for one, it can't find any.

Anyone?

For some reason the Mozilla VideoLan extension is not functioning at all for me with Firefox 2.0 under WindowsXP. Any ideas?
