In the playlist dialog box, rt. click anyone of the existing column headers. You should see "ID" listed there.

That was simple j-b and it works.

I'm using 0.9.8a and when I add files to the playlist in a specific order, save the playlist (playlist/save playlist...) and later open the xspf file, the files are in alphabetical order rather than the order I saved them in.
