Just for your interest: This option isn't available on Macs for a reason, as running the same multiple times is strongly against Apple's usability guidelines. That is true...but if you look at QuickTime for example you can see that it defaults to allow multiple video windows to be opened at the sam...

the workaround for your problem is disabling the onscreen controller. This will probably be fixed with the next release.

Actually, this happens with any kind of video file (not only DVDs) and only when going to or from fullscreen. I actually catch myself using mplayer because of that problem now if you can belive that! Just FYI, I am finding that Apple's own DVD Player also crashes very often when playing VIDEO_TS fil...

olben: There really was all infomation needed in the previeous post. There is no seperate "codec" for vlc to support all .wmv files because vlc does not rely on external codecs at all. You may also want to try using the commercial Flip4Mac software for Quicktime. It may in some cases play ...

Hi, I have disabled the fullscreen controller and i still get random crashes going into or from fullscreen mode. I have experienced these crashes quite often even before the fullscreen controller was introduced so this might be a different kind of bug. P.S.: Occasionally the crash is so bad it takes...
