Please direct downloads to http://ftp.endpoint.nu/pub/software/videolan/ and NOT directly to ftp1.srv.endpoint, as the current solution does not utilize the loadbalancing. ftp1 is taking a hammering, while ftp2 is mainly asleep as it is right now.

Sure you can. http://ftp.endpoint.nu/pub/software/videolan/ Directory indexing is disabled (no mod_autoindex). Thats why we use a script to create the index.
