Thanks for the tip! Got the portable version working for a .mkv file which wasn't playing before.

I've got the same problem too. Just audio, no video. Running Vista Home Premium x86 with BFG 7600 GT OC card. Updated Nvidia driver to most recent beta. When I play in WMP-11, the video is choppy. However, I Nero ShowTime seems to be working well for me.
