File SOUT speed?

Hi,

I am using VLC to open up a file and stream the contents (UDP) to an ip address and have this part working well.

It is possible to change the playback rate of the file? i.e. I would like to slow the video that is being streamed down to half speed?

Cheers,

Chris

It didn't help on my core 2 duo machine. Should this problem now be moved into official Trac bug reporting?

Just the huge leap going from 1.1.x -> 2.0.x

Hi, I have been playing with the latest 1.2.0 Nightly build, and have been getting a crash when trying to stop and close my libvlc instance and media player shortly after playing a new video. It appears to be related to the text that appears on video playing as adding the option "--no-video-tit...

DVB-T Programme Selection

Hi, When using the official VLC app to view DVB-T, all i need to do is enter in the frequency and symbol rate. Then to view the different broadcasts on the same frequency I can go to Playback -> Programme and change to a different channel. E.g. In the UK the BBC is broadcast at 506000Khz, and then a...

Re: libvlc_media_player_release causes segment fault?

I have seen similar problems with 1.1.5 and 1.1.6 in Delphi.

Can you remove the libfluidsynth_plugin.dll from the plugins folder (C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\plugins), and then try your app and get back to me to see if it still occurs?

Re: VLC crashes when u try to run multiple instances of it

Hi JB,

I also get this behaviour with 4+ instances with Win32 with 1.1.5, although the app has to be compiled for it to trigger, when running the app from debug mode in my Delphi IDE it never happens (i presume the IDE slows down the calls to play just enough so the deadlock doesn't occur)

libvlc_video_take_snapshot memory leak?
