Re: Audio stutter -- Lost audio buffers when playing MP2

This is what I get in the messages window: ... ps debug: force SCR: 41435231400 ps debug: force SCR: 41435389944 ps debug: force SCR: 41435375400 ps debug: force SCR: 41435442044 ps debug: force SCR: 41435549944 ps debug: force SCR: 414355...

Re: Audio stutter -- Lost audio buffers when playing MP2

Same for me - playing video files via NFS from a linux box running VDR (DVB-S reciever and recording solution http://www.vdr-portal.de) and there was no problem with 0.8.6 but with the new 0.9.2 the audio stutters round about every 5-10 seconds. (MacBook Pro 2,4GHz 4GB RAM, MacOS X 10.5.4) Hope some...

Re: Problem with last nightly builds

Same for me. Version 0.8.6c works with out problems but nightlies crash as sone as I start them up or try to watch a videostream. Just tried with the nightly-build from yesterday to open a m4v-video and it just crashes.

If needed I can give more infos.

Hello Peter! ... After using it a couple of times I couldn't open the native mac programs: Safari, Mail, ICal etc. ... Does anyone have any idea what's going on and how to avoid this annoying situation? I do not know why you can solve this problem by removing the pref-file but this problem appeares ...

How to play MPEG-PES format? Native-vdr-format

Hello!

I am running vdr on my linux-box and vdr saves movies in MPEG-PES-format. I know that VLC can play PS and TS format. Will it be possible to let VLC play PES mpegs?

I don't think that's possible. I've seen a lot of mpeg samples, and if you try to force the other format that NEVER works. TS and PS are completely different. (That's why TS usually doesn't work in a lot of applications). You can force by adding a file like this: file/ts:///path/file.vcd instead of...

I didn't say that WAS the cause, but it is a common problem. Looking at your debug log, i see not even the faintest hint that there even is audio in this file. If there was audio, then there should be something in this log to indicate multiple streams or something and there is not. So this is not a...

Don't use SMB. There is a problem with apple's smb client that might cause this. Okay tried it with nfs-mount and vlc-0.8.0-test2 and still no luck with sound. Video plays beautifuly but no sound from the vdr-recordings. I just looked thought the messages-window and found this ts warning: TS module...

Re: Beta release: VLC 0.8.0-test1

Bug: MPEG-TS - (vdr recordings) have no audio! Clitch: It takes very long to quit VLC. Tested with MacOS X 10.3.5, PB G4/1GHz connected via 811.?g to a linux-box that shares the vdr-recordings via Samba. and with MacOS X 10.3.5 Cube G4/450MHz connected via 811.?b to the same linux-box. As http://dev...

MPEG-TS support (to play recordings from vdr)

Hello! I am running a Linux-box with a DVB-S card and vdr - works really great! I can record TV-shows and can share it via SMB to my MacOS X boxes. BUT when I want to play those recordings I can see the video but I can not hear the audio. AFAIK this is because VLC does not support MPEG-TS (transport...
