I downloaded the final version of VLC 0.8.6b which claims to fix Direct3D Video Output for Vista compatibility,
but VLC 0.8.6b is still INCOMPATIBLE with Windows Vista, i.e. I can't see any video, the screen is with unique colour (black, brown, etc.)!!!

with DirectX without overlay and the Aero is disabled
with OpenGL and the video is corrupted i.e. half of screen is black/cutted and it's very slow!
VLC doesn't work in Windows Vista: screen is black or with a unique color during playback with every type of videos.
Why? Any plans to release a Vista compatible version?
With Windows Media Player 11 everything works fine.
