Can I convert itunes audio to mp3?

Pardon me if this has an obvious answer, but I've searched everything (FAQ, Wiki, forum) and the closest thing I have come up with is this post: http://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=52707 . The problem with that post is that the answer to #1 was never fully answered. Someone explained h...

Can no one help? I really need to get this done and the files are missing. This says: If your browser's plugins folder is not detected, copy npvlc.dll and vlcintf.xpt from the mozilla folder of your VLC Media Player installation to your browser's plugins folder. The dll file is there, but not the xp...

Jorn, that's helpful but isn't a preferred fix. Naturally backtracking versions isn't what most of us would want to do.

Hopefully the developers will get this sorted out.

Oh good grief! I have it figured out now. What was throwing me was the numbers that didn't match. "Default Audio Volume" has numbers that well exceed what the players volume said when I turned it up and I've no idea why those numbers are different. In any case, I now have it fixed. :)

I hear your frustration and I would be just as frustrated as well. Hang in there though. You might be able to fix it. If this is happening with other media players then it sounds like your computer is having the trouble, and not the players which is unfortunate. Have you tried updating your drivers?...

Thank you to the both of you, but the hover isn't explaining how to set the volume permanently and I had searched the wiki prior to posting. There truly needs to be a step by step guide on setting preferences. If I understood them I'd write it myself, but unfortunately I don't. Does anyone know whic...

Tutorials, what preferences mean, etc.

Is there a Help section with tutorials on how to use VLC for non-power users? I'm trying to set my preferences and there are so many options that they may as well be written in Phoenician because I've no idea what they mean. For example, when VLC starts I have to set the volume to 85 every single ti...

Firefox plugin - Totally confused.

When I installed VLC, I selected to install the Mozilla Plugin. That said, I've read the help file. I'm running Firefox 2.0.0.1 on Windows XP and the help file says: Quit Firefox or Mozilla Copy the two files in VLC_Installation_folder\mozilla (usually C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\mozilla ) to your...
