which services are used by VLC for displaying images/videos ?
I'm trying to get the best performances on systems having Intel 915 boards.
How can i obtain the best? (Recompiling, other ....)

How about license in this case?

How about mp4v and x264 licenses?
Is there a problem if i wish to use them (+ VLC) in a commercial product ?
