jwhenever i open a video i get a white screen too, but when i use the hotkeys for increasing or decreasing the volume of vlc the video is playing perfectly, even on my 2nd screen when i let ctrl+up arrow or down arrow loose again the screen turns white again i can watch a movie full without errors/p...
