I've installed the latest VLC RPM from Packman (vlc-0.8.6-0.pm.1.x86_64.rpm) on my SUSE 10.0 AMD64 system. I also have the most recent updates of packages such as xvid (and, if it matters, ffmpeg) installed. I can play mpeg2 files okay with VLC, but when I try xvid or divx mpeg4 files, I get no vide...
