Not able to display vtt subtitles.

I have VLC 3.0.7.1 installed on my windows 10.
I can display subtitles in srt format but not vtt format at all.

At first, I thought that could be a problem of subs.
So I have downloaded several ones in vtt format, but no one works.

Anybody can help?
Thank you in advance!

BTW, after 0.8.0 some work will be done on positioning and colors for our subtitle subsystem. This might make it to the SSA support as well.
G . R . E . A . T!!!

Then vlc will be more close to "perfect"

Anyone know when the new version will be released?

I don't know if it's a problem of the subtitle or vlc, but I suppose that it would have to be splitted in two lines instead of puuting words over anothers ones (the subtitle becomes unreadable). I tried to look in VLC preferences for an option that reduces char size or force the excedent of the lin...

1: vobsubs are often in the original resolution of the DVD, therefore they need to be scaled down to the size of the DivX by the application. VLC's scaler isn't quite fantastic yet. THNAK YOU for REPLY. I am looking forward to the improvement on subtitles. I believe you can do as well as vobsub. 2:...
