Your right there is no auto configuration. Try the Network setup wizard in your control panel.

NOPE! It's part of the Windows operating system.
Well how do I configure the connections? When I plug the crossover(wire)nothing happens. Its not like a USB when a screen will pop up asking me what I want to do.

Configure the network connection and transfer the files.
HUH? I was thinking there was a program that would allow this. I already have Nero 7, WinAVIConverter, not to meantion stock programs but there no help with this.

DivX capable players are available i the market but not every set top player will play DivX.
How can I tell if it will play DiVX?

You will need to convert the file to something your DVD player can understand like DivX if it is capable or the standard MPEG 2.
My DVD says Multi Format Playback(DVD-V/DVD-R, WMA, MP3, JPEG, CD/Video CD, CD-RW) would DivX play this? If so have you heard of Apollo_-_DIVX_TO_DVD??

They can be burned to a DVD but no DVD Player will play the file outside of a computer capable of Matroska files.
Does it account for something by the files being convert from RAR an WINzip?? If not how can MKV be converted to be compatable with DVD player?

Every file had to be downloaded and every file had to be there in order to be extracted. Doing an error check before extraction is a good thing. :)
But the files are .MKV can they be burned to DVD-R an played on dvd player(besides computer)??

It's just a matter of grabbing the time indicator with the mouse and doing a trial and error. The ctrl or alt left right keys time skip may be more precise and can be set in preferences, Hot Keys. Yes it means the file is corrupt. Never mind the files were split. I did not know EVERY file had to be...

Often a file will play if you can determine the length of the error and find good data again but this does depend on the format and is not always possible. Where can I put that information in?? Use WinRar to extract the files. Check the files before extraction. If there are any errors the file is corrupt. Unfortunately this assumes the file was good when it was archived. Considering it always stops in the same spot you should have some indication of issues before it stops both in Messages...

VLC not playing correctly??

My situation is different from these other threads. It plays VOB, MP3, an others. But it just seems to have a problem with RAR files that have been extracted? It will play them for about 9 minutes an always stops in the exact same spot???
