For cable QAM you'll need the NIT ,but it's not defined in VLC ...

Hi, Is it possible to encode teletext with VLC from a plain txt file to an MPEG TS Stream? It would be nice to add some info in TTXT when streaming to my IP BOX. And to add subtitling in the TTXT on page 888 from a .srt file ... I know there is a TTXT decoder but it's not avalable on the windows ver...

I try that a long time now, I like to join 2 live Single Program Transport Streams and 2 files into one Multiple Program Transport Stream so I can sellect in the Navigation dropdown but without succes.

I dont think that works, you are using different ip ports 8080 and 8081. this means they are in different transport streams .

even a switch can give you only once the multicaststream (except you use several IP addresses on your local machine, I doubt that) what do you measure on your windows taskmanager ip traffic?

Normaly your router shall only give you the stream once (in IP) and not 4 times ...
