Re: panoramix plugin

I just tried it and look what I got: extern size_t iconv (iconv_t cd, char * *inbuf, size_t *inbytesleft, char * *outbuf, size_t *outbytesleft); checking for buggy GNU/libc versions... found configure: error: Buggy GNU/libc (version 2.5 - 2.7) present. VLC would crash; there is no viable work-around...

Re: panoramix plugin

is there something I need to add to enable panoramix? I took this from my notes. ./configure --enable-x11 --enable-xvideo --enable-x264 --enable-lirc --enable-gpl --enable-pp --enable-pthreads --disable-gtk --enable-sdl --enable-ffmpeg --with-ffmpeg-mp3lame --enable-libmp3lame --enable-mad --enable-...

panoramix plugin

Good morning folks. I would like to know if panoramix is still included on the latest version of vlc and would like to know if it's working properly now on linux. I remember back in 2007, Cedric C told me that there are some problems when using this plugin in linux.

Thanks.

playback stuttering

Hi folks, I don't know what the real issue is. I can playback a 1920x1080 and 1280x720 files, either .ts or h.264 without any issue. Now, I need to use the wall feature, a 2x1 wall. Once I start to play the same file using wall feature, playback is affected. VLC eats up like 80% cpu and 19% from Xor...

Looking more closely to your .lircrc, I found out that you are just using a work around. :o I was under the impression that vlc really had lirc support. I just recompiled vlc 3 days ago with --enable-lirc. So I assumed that we can directly use vlc rather than irexec and echo commands. something like...

Re: Enhanced VLC lirc control

Hi Albert, I've been using lirc in mythtv, xine and mplayer. I saw your .lircrc however, I noticed that you don't have a pause, stop. Do you know what those matches in vlc? Thanks! Hello, I needed to use VLC + lirc + rc interface commad (goto X), because I needed to press a button 5 and jump into po...

who uses wall feature?

I would like to know who uses wall feature and is not seeing any playback issue such as tearing, slow refresh rate.

If not, please let me know what os, kernel, video card, driver you are using.

Thanks.

It is a VLC issue. Another developer from nvidia tested the wall feature of vlc and he was also witnessing tearing on a video. I actually captured VLC with my digital camera while playing the 1080 recording. If you look closely in the middle of the screen, you will see the vertical line that divides...

I noticed that when using --xvideo-adaptor 2 rather than --xvideo-adaptor 1, it is more sluggish. xvinfo|grep Adaptor shows [mythtv@localhost recordings]$ xvinfo|grep Adaptor Adaptor #0: "NV17 Video Texture" Adaptor #1: "NV05 Video Blitter" Don't know if the culprit is the 6600Gt...

slow refresh or tearing is happening when using wall filter

High folks. I have a 1920x1080 HD recording in .mpg that has been recorded by mythtv. I can play it with vlc without any filters and no playback issue. Is it ok to request regarding wall filter if we can add an additional parameter that will allow us to specify how much screen percentage is assigned to the left and right screen? Also, is it possible to cut the edges in fading style like the pictures below? Please see image. If you look below, image...
