Hi Sonic I have 2 drives in my G4 Mac/Radeon 128. The one drive has OSX10.4.10, and this one (since 10.4.7 or so) crashes etc. with VLC. The other drive in the same machine has 10.4.3, and VLC works just fine if I start up from that drive. Simply changing accounts while using the 10.4.10 system does...

Sorry I'm feeling a bit thick. I know I have seen it somewhere before, but can't find it now. Where do I set the verbosity to 2? I tried VLC preferences, including advanced settings, advanced ticked etc. but can't find verbosity settings. Also not under "Console" utility.

For example, newer versions of iTunes will no doubt not want to work with the older versions of QT, there are (theoretically?) various security risks etc. Downgrading QT also seems to be easier said than done.
