Sorry, rajuptb, but I'm running streaming using vlc not vls -- and I'm in Windows, so I don't think I have a configuration file (vls.cfg). I'm also fairly new at this, so I could be wrong. In any case, here are the commands I use to stream my TV card over high-bandwidth and low-bandwidth connections...

I have also had this problem, and found that the best solution is to first open the TV stream to the default tuner channel. Then on the server side, run your usual TV tuner software to control the channel. When you open the tuner software, you'll probably get several errors about accessing the direc...

lingering 'chroma' issues when streaming direct show inputs

When I stream a video capture card using dshow, I get weird colors on the client end. This seems to be a problem with the chroma setting on the server not being handled properly by the client. I tried a workaround of changing the hue on the client, but some colors are still wrong. In a previous post...

nevermind...

...I figured it out.

The syntax was just: "--filter adjust --hue X"

works fine now. Thanks.

didn't seem to work. :( I tried several variations of the syntax for "--video-filter=adjust" to no avail. It keeps telling me 'command line options couldn't be loaded, check that they are valid.' My command looks like: > vlc udp: --video-filter=adjust --hue 180 OR > vlc udp: --video-filter...

enabling "Adjust" from cmd [Win/vlc0.7.2]

Is there a way to enable the "Adjust Image" settings from the Windows command line -- or to make it enabled by default within 'Preferences'? I'm streaming a directshow input and having 'chroma' issues on the client machine (a known issue). I couldn't seem to get the server to force the chr...
