I did this and unfortunately the image is still thereUntick Allow Metadata Network Access in the Preferences, exit VLC and then clear again the art folder in %appdata% and the image should not be back.

Unrelated image displaying when playing audio files
When I play audio-only files (e.g. MP3, WAV), VLC will display an image completely unrelated to the audio file. I do recognize the image and it is stored somewhere else on my computer but I have never done anything to associate the image with any of my audio files. It is happening regardless of whic...
