To be honest, I began using VLC when I got my first Mac. It was back in 2009. I've been looking for a video player to watch movies and videos from my phone on my laptop, and since then, I can't find anything more convenient for me than VLC.
Since your videos are shot in portrait mode, ensure that the aspect ratio is maintained during editing and exporting. Videos shot in portrait mode typically have an aspect ratio different from the standard 16:9 (used in 1920x1080 resolution). If the aspect ratio is altered, it could cause the video ...
The first thing that comes to mind is that after the update, another player was set as a default. Happened to me once. After I updated my Mac (MacBook Pro 2016), all videos were opening by default with another player. So, if that's the case for you, you can fix this by right-clicking on a video file...
Well, I'm glad to be helpful. But when I found that source with all the hotkeys, I was pleasantly surprised that there were so many of them. Of course, I don't need all of them, but it's good to have some options.
Well, it might be a bug after an update. Hopefully, they'll fix it. But, maybe there's a trick somewhere. Personally, when I had trouble with setting VLC for my Apple TV, I found some tips on this video: https://youtu.be/vII-IleEpIg?si=BhqBspHj24skjG3a Try to think of what kind of steps you can take...
OMG! Your post reminds me of how I used Winamp and played my music on the computer after I came back from school. So, many sweet memories :) Also, I found this Reddit discussion on this topic. You should check it out if you are looking for some old-school stuff. Here's the link https://www.reddit.co...
You are welcome
Well, I guess you can find analogs to VLC on mobile. But hopefully, the developers will pinch this idea and come up with something. Personally, I would be glad to get VLC for my iPad.
To be honest, when everything works fine for me, then I don't play with setups and settings. I think my issue was with the video format itself. I wanted to re-watch videos saved on the portable HDD, which was made in 2006.
I ordered myself a portable speaker to watch videos. Sometimes, you can barely hear what a person on video says, especially when it comes to tutorials. But a friend of mine began using a portable speaker, and it works just fine.
If that's what you are asking about.
Anyway, plenty of hotkeys already exist. I found a list of 60 hotkeys for VLC Mac. Here's the list: https://tutorialtactic.com/keyboard-sho ... tcuts-mac/
Do you really need that many unless your job is related to music production and promotion?
Oh! Come on! Do you really think that people complain about some bugs only on this forum? I don't think so. Personally, I found out about this forum when I had some issues with installing VLC on my computer. I asked on one gaming forum who else faced a similar issue, and they suggested this place to...
It reminds me of one mysterious case that we had in college. Some random music began to play on our laptops, and our professors thought that we were doing it on purpose. But then it was the problem appeared on his laptop, too. But back then, there was some glitch between the app update and the MacOS...
It would be interesting to know about this in a bit more details :) I found one tutorial on YouTube, but it was made about 7 years ago. So, obviously, things have changed. I don't know how about you, but my menu there looks a bit different then on this video I found at https://youtu.be/vWnjFSeFgPk?s...
