OK. I just copied the ISO files and DVD folders back to the phone and VLC is now parsing and playing them. Very weird though. The other video files like MKVs were not affected by this...

Hi, I have a common scenario here: a blu-ray rip from MakeMKV, obviously video is hard encoded into 1920x1080 frame, active picture being only 1920x816 since the movie is in fact in 2.35 aspect ratio, the rest of the video frame is black bars (132 pixels both on top and bottom).
