Do you have the ".nomedia" file in the folders in question?

Is there any way to do this from the search area? I have no 3 dots next to a song, when searching

Just FYI for anyone who might be having this issue. Make sure you don't have the ".nomedia" file in any of your folders!!

Turns out all of the folders where media couldn't be found had the ".nomedia" file in them. Deleted them all, and viola! All songs show up!!

I have VLC setup to scan the "Music" folder and all subfolders, which is the one where I have all of my audio files. When I drill down to the folders in question, I get "No media files found".... I'm running version 3.4.4 from the play store. I downloaded the most recent .apk fro...

I have all of my media in one folder, each artist in a subfolder from there. VLC only finds about half of the content. If I got to folders manually in VLC i can find/play everything.


Any ideas?
