I have several Chromecast devices connected to sound systems in my house. I also have a Max Hub display. I used to be able to send a VLC music stream from my phone to these devices. If I try to now, the devices show in the list, and if I select one, it says "Connected to renderer Max Hub" ...

There is another thread, where it has been reported that VLC is not remembering the stream URLs. Once that is fixed, you should just be able to enter (and store) the URLs.

I cleared cache, but that didn't work. I eventually cleared the lot and then re-entered my settings. It's working fine now.

I see we are now on 3.5.0.RC1. I tried to add another stream address, and it did not appear in the history list. Was the fix included in RC1?

Looking at the two images, It appears that "OtsBox" is on the line where the Track/Artist should be, whereas in the old widget, that is on the second line.

So, here's the scenario.
