Hi all. I want to use side mouse buttons to jump forward and backward. But VLC doesn't recognize them in the hotkeys section. Please add this feature. It's very nice and convenient. No luck unfortunately.

I'll reword that, it's not that it won't let me select them, they do not appear at all in vlc anymore for whatever reason.
Is there some way to fix that?

For some reason the back/forward buttons on my mouse no longer work for the purpose of skipping ahead or back. I tried the advanced interface settings & it will not let me select these buttons, I've used them for the longest time but the player doesn't seem to recognize them. Is there a way to f...
