In VLC tvOS 3.3.4 browsing of subdirectories on legacy FTP (non MLST) servers appears to be (still?) broken. When I select a folder from the root it starts automatically playing video instead of browsing the subdirectory. (Microsoft IIS FTP on Windows in my case) Possibly this was broken in earlier ...
