It seems that --align=8 aligns video to top of the screen (according to documentation should to bottom).
But --align=4 didn't work at all (should align video to top).
My Solution: I have Amazon Fire TV Lite with VLC 3.4.4 and have this frame drop on every subtitle change. What helped for me is set OpenGL ES2 to "force on" in Advanced settings, and Close And Restart VLC. Founding this take me about 6 hour fighting with reading logs, reinstalling differen...
I'm using VLC for Android on Amazon Fire TV.
I trying to align video to top of the screen as in this post: https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?t=141880 by entering --align=4 in Custom libVLC options text field.
But video remains still in the center.
What I'm doing wrong?
