Streaming Hauppauge Hd Pvr?

Is there any support for using vlc to multicast stream the HD output of the Hauppauge Hd Pvr on Linux?

Even if it is possible, can I avoid transcoding?

Apple Remote and Hotkeys on Mac Mini

This topic is interesting to me too. We would like to stream colloquia. vlc could do the video and audio of the speaker, but we would want to stream the laptop presentation as well. It would be nice if vlc could handle both.

I wonder if vlc could take input from vnc and stream it.

The playback is just jerky. Not terrible, but not good enough to watch...

Errors with vlc and pvr250

I'm testing multicast udp streaming with the ivtv driver and vlc. If I just capture a file from /dev/video0 and stream the file, no errors. If I stream /dev/video0 I get a fair number of errors from vlc of the form [00000190] access_output_udp private debug: mmh, paquets in the past -> drop [0000019...
