I noticed that there was a recent update to VLC, was this to address this issue?
I have Pis showing UDP streams which are still broken.

Hi I have about 26 Raspberry Pis displaying various different IPTV video streams at work. They have for a long time been running Raspbian lite and CVLC. A recent apt-get upgrade unfortunately killed them. The offending packages were libraspberrypi-bin libraspberrypi-dev libraspberrypi-doc libraspber...
