Did you upgrade from Windows 10 Home, or was the OS preinstalled?

I would still like to know which version you have installed i.e. 1909, 2004, 20H2 etc, etc.

It's a fresh install on the new SSD. It's 20H2, might've been through a few previous versions too.

It could be related to a network problem because rebooting resets the network stack. You could try running netsh winsock reset from an elevated command prompt. Hit Ctrl + Q, or click Media ---> Quit to close vlc.
