I just installed version 3.2.13 on my iphone 6 running ios 12.4.9. I copied a bunch of mp3s into the vlc folder using a usb cable. When I open the songs it lists them in a random order (i.e. not ordered by filename) and it is set to sort by "album". When I change that to "alphanumeric...
