Thanks for that tip DJ, that's pretty much what I was looking for. But Gwai's right, the feature seems a bit clunky/buggy. The interface pops up as the same size/shape/location as the video was before you made it fullscreen. Also, if you actually click in the interface to use it, it won't disappear ...

This could probably be answered in some FAQ page (if there is one, just direct me to it), but I'm wondering if there's any way to add controls to VLC while watching in fullscreen, similar to how Windows Media player has popup controls at the bottom. Thanks a lot.
