Thanks MEDERI. (1) I tried the 1.6 thing but I still have the audio issue. My South Park directory has files which range in formats from "rm, avi, divx, mp4, mkv." (2) I will look into this LUA scripting language. I had no idea that VLC made use of such a thing. I always thought it was C++...
