Is it possible to customize the color and/or width of the vertical volume bar that shows up when changing volume using mousewheel/hotkeys in full screen?

You can disable OSD in VLC preferences: Tools > Preferences > Subtitles/OSD cone tab: [ ] Enable On Screen Display (OSD)

When I use a hotkey to do an action, with some hotkeys text or icons pop up in the top right corner of the video area, for example "Next frame", "Crop: 16:9"... Is there a way to disable this?
